I am a good mother. (Poem)
65I am a good mother, not by accident, or fluke, but on purpose.
I am a good mother because I want to be, need to be.
I am a good mother because I am strong and brave in surplus.
I am a good mother mostly because what it means to me.
I am a good mother.
I am a good mother in quiet moments, in a soft caress.
I am a good mother through frustration and tears.
I am a good mother in loud banging, in cries of distress.
I am a good mother despite my woes and fears.
I am a good mother.
I am a good mother even when I want to give up.
I am a good mother when you tell me I can't be.
I am a good mother even when I don't measure up.
I am a good mother in more ways than you can see.
I am a good mother.
I am a good mother because I do what's best for my child.
I am a good mother because I know I don't know everything.
I am a good mother while I tough it out, rough and mild,
I am a good mother because of the joy doing it brings.
I am a good mother.
I am a good mother when you hurt me and tell me I'm not.
I am a good mother when I'm stern, when I laugh, when I cry.
I am a good mother when I'm scared, my stomach's in a knot.
I am a good mother because I continue to step up and try.
I am a good mother.
I am a good mother in the little things, the grand things,
I am a good mother when I hold a little hand and kiss a tear.
I am a good mother because what being a mommy brings.
I am a good mother because I'm a hero despite my fear.
I am a good mother.
I am a good mother because I say I am a good mother.
I am a good mother because I don't let you convince me otherwise.
I am a good mother because I am here like no other.
I am a good mother because I can see myself in my child's eyes.
I am a good mother.
